Use of copper sulfate in the prevention and control of aquatic diseases

The aqueous solution of copper sulfate has strong ability to kill pathogens, and can be used for medicated bath fish, disinfecting fishing gear (food field), fish disease prevention, etc. Some farmers do not know how to scientifically use copper sulfate, resulting in a low cure rate of fish diseases. Even drug abuse accidents have caused significant losses. Based on years of experience in the prevention and control of aquatic diseases, I summarize the following points:

1. The average area of children is generally less than 0.2 g/m3, which has no killing effect on fish parasites, but when it exceeds 1 g/m3, it will cause fish poisoning to die. When applying copper sulfate, it is necessary to accurately measure the water body area and accurately calculate the amount of the drug.

2. Pay attention to the drug (l) Although copper sulfate is easily soluble in water, it is not easy to dissolve in cold water. Warm water must be used, and the water temperature must be lower than 60 °C, otherwise copper sulfate will lose its efficacy. (2) The time for the administration of copper sulfate should be arranged at 4 to 5 in the afternoon, and the pond that has just spilled the soy milk should not be used immediately.

3. When used in combination with medicinal copper sulfate for insecticide, it must be used in combination with ferrous sulfate. Ferrous sulfate can play a synergistic role in increasing drug penetration and convergence, and if copper sulfate or ferrous sulfate is used alone, it will not have an insecticidal effect. The concentration of the copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate mixture was 0.7 g/m 3 and the ratio of 5:2, that is, 0.5 g/m 3 of copper sulfate and 0.2 g/m 3 of ferrous sulfate.

4. Controlling tree hypoxia When killing algae with copper sulfate, algae will decompose and consume a lot of oxygen after death, so that the pool water is deprived of oxygen, so after taking the medicine, be patient.
